Who are we?
Outdoorgearstore.com.au is owned and operated by Outdoor Retail Group Pty Ltd. Our old owners and creators also owned Cliffhanger Climbing Gym (Australia's premier indoor rock climbing centre) and Cliffhanger Online Store (Australia's largest online climbing store), which might mean more to you! We've been in this industry for over 18 years and selling online most of that time in some form or another.
Can't find what you are looking for?
Our range is forever growing, but if you still can't find what you want, then shoot us an email or give us a call, and we'll try and get it for you. Having been around for so long, we have pretty long arms when it comes to finding products. The only thing that limits us is franchise agreements with some of the store chains - for instance Mammut which is exclusively sold through one of the chain stores.

Size or Colour isn't visible?
Our site normally contains all the sizes and colours we have in stock at that time, occasionally we might have a "data entry" issue or the inventory has not updated from the night before, but typically what's listed is what we've got. If you can't find the size or colour you were after in the product drop-down box, just give us a call or email to check, you never know your luck!
Cart Issues?
If you are having cart issues, such as not being able to update your cart, please make sure you have cookies "enabled" and possibly try refreshing [F5] your screen.
Don't refresh your screen after you've submitted your payment details, let the cart system do it's thing, sometimes this can take a few seconds depending on your connection speed and also the volume of traffic through our payment gateway.
Terms and Conditions:
All pricing includes GST and additional freight pricing is listed before payment details are collected. Concluding the check-out process constitutes an offer under law. We do reserve the right to cancel any order without notice if we believe a payment is fraudulent or a genuine error has been made on our part. We will communicate any order issues in writing to the email address provided at the time of ordering. The Trade Practices Act (C'wlth) applies to all transactions conducted on this site.
Purchasing from our stores will include you on an email list for specific offers relating to your purchase. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can instantly unsubscribe by clicking the link on the bottom left of any newsletter or by emailing us directly - after that point you'll never hear from us again!

All prices shown are in Australian Dollars and all payments will be processed in Australian Dollars.
We offer 3 methods of payment, being online credit card, telephone credit card, or payment to our bank account (direct deposit).
If you wish to pay by EFT or Internet Banking credit to our bank account or by Credit Card over the phone, please select DIRECT DEPOSIT button when checking out.
IMPORTANT:
Please quote your 4 digit Order Number for these payment types, otherwise your payment will NOT be allocated to your order. The IVR Phone System will ask for your invoice/order number, so please have it ready when making phone payments.

We do NOT accept PayPal at this time. We CAN accept personal cheques, company cheques and Australian Money Orders but there is a 5 business day clearance delay before your order can be shipped. Please call to discuss this method of payment before ordering.
