$5 delivery within Australia

 

 

 

 

 

 

All items in the store are shipped for $5 Delivery (per order, not item!) within Australia, via Australia Post eParcel Post (as of July 1, 2011).

We do not currently ship overseas from this store.

2011 update:  We now utilise warehouses in Melbourne and Sydney to cope with our order demands. Some orders may be shipped in two lots from both locations, depending on what products are ordered - so you may also receive two parcels for one order. You'll only be charged the one lot of freight. 

December 2011 Special Offer: All orders over $50 shipped free. The Cart will calculate this for you, no coupon code required.

 

Please read the following, before choosing a delivery option.


It is also important to be aware of what is included with each freight/shipping choice. Our $5 service includes eParcel tracking but NO insurance. Over our 15 years of mail order and online trading, we have only lost 2 parcels with Australia Post, although occasionally some parcels seem to take a little longer to arrive for no real reason. With the introduction of eParcel as of July 1st 2011, we expect there to be no further issues.

If you have a deadline to receive the order, wish to be able to trace the order or require insurance, then please select an additional delivery method at checkout. The list below is a thorough explanation of what is covered with each option, as many people are not aware of the limitations of many of the products offered by Australia Post and expect more than is possible from their services! Please note we do NOT offer same day delivery on any service.

From our end, most items will ship within a two days or so of the order, providing the order is received before 11:00 am EST. As we ship so many orders each day, the earlier we receive the order, the more likely it is to be packed and shipped the same or next day, our aim is to get orders out within 2 days of being received. Some items may be shipped direct from either our Sydney or Perth Warehouse to speed up the delivery process, in which case your receipts may be sent be normal mail from our store in Melbourne. If for some reason we don't have an item in stock, which is unusual, we will call you the day of the order to discuss the delivery time frame, the option to continue with or cancel your order and receive a refund is entirely yours.

At peak times, like Christmas it may take a few days to get your order out, due to the high volumes. Our Couriers collect our parcels at around 3pm-4pm each day and Australia Post collect our parcels Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3:30pm each day, so we need time to pick, pack and label your order.

If you want to move your order to the front of the line, select Express Post and we'll endeavour to get your order out 'same day' or 'next day'.

Benefits of using eParcel Post:

  • A unique identification number for every article

  • Proof of posting and delivery

  • A signature on delivery (or it can be nominated to be left at your residence if not able to sign)

Insured Post

Insured Post is simply that, an Insurance charge on top of regular post. there is no tracking or Proof of Delivery. Any claims on this insurance are dealt with by your local Post Office. If you send goods back to us, Australia Post will not honour the claim, as the goods have been re-shipped! Australia Post will settle all the claims, usually at your local Post Office/Post Shop.

Where the value of the item exceeds $100, you can insure up to a maximum $5000 value. Where the value is less than $100, simply request Registered Post at check-out. Insured Post does not cover jewellery, heirlooms or money.

 

Express PostImage 3 Medium

Express Post is the economical next business day delivery service for letters, documents and parcels. Next business day delivery is guaranteed* to all street addresses and post office boxes within the Express Post Next Business Day Network, if posted on a business day Monday to Friday in accordance with conditions set out on Express Post items.

Benefits of using Express Post:

  • A unique identification number for every article
  • Proof of Posting and Proof of Delivery - tracking via phone 13 13 18
  • Next Business Day delivery (if you are in the Network)

What's NOT included with Express Post:

  • No insurance
  • No Proof of Delivery - i.e. no name of receiver or signature is collected by Australia Post
  • Items over 20 kgs or larger than 140cm in any measurement

Please make sure you are in the "Next Day Delivery Network".

Most items can be shipped 'next day delivery within Australia' utilising the Australia Post Express Post Network.  To guarantee same day shipping (next day delivery most areas), we MUST receive the order by 11:00 am Melbourne Time.

Effective 23 March 2009, Australia Post no longer guarantee that Express Post or Express Post Platinum will be delivered by 12:00 noon the next day. They now advise that Standard Express Post items will "most likely be delivered next day" and Platinum Express Post "will be delivered next day" within the network.

 

Overnight CourierImage 5 Medium

Most items can now be shipped 'overnight delivery within Australia' utilising the Australian Air Express Network. This is an additional charge, which can be selected during check out. To guarantee same day shipping (overnight delivery most areas), we MUST receive the order by 10:00 am Melbourne Time.

Benefits of using AAE Courier:

What's NOT included with AAE Courier Service:

  • No insurance
  • Some large items may not be included
  • cannot be delivered to an unattended address.

NOTE: AAE do require someone to be at the delivery point to sign for the parcel, they will not leave it without a signature. If they have to re-deliver, there is an additional $20 fee! They will not leave a parcel without a signature for any reason whatsoever, so if you "may" not be home on the delivery day, do not select this option. If we incur a $20 re-delivery fee, we will charge this to the Credit Card provided, and your selection of AAE Courier at check-out is our authority to process any re-delivery fees.

If you select the Courier Delivery service we will contact you to verify your identity and that you will be available to receive the shipment. This may require the transmission of a copy of your Drivers Licence, Passport of other proof of identity before we ship your order. We do apologise for the inconvenience, but it's part of our Merchant check requirements.

External Territories:

We are permitted to ship to 7 external territories of Australia,

  • Ashmore and Cartier Islands
  • Australian Antarctic Territory
  • Christmas Island
  • Cocos (Keeling) Islands
  • Coral Sea Islands
  • Heard and McDonald Islands
  • Norfolk Island

but please note, as these are considered 'outside Australia' by couriers and Australia Post, additional Freight Charges will apply. We will contact you with an exact freight price, before shipping your order. Please note, there is no Next Day Service available to any of these places.
