Light and versatile Pad/Pack
The one and only. When Mike Call designed this rig back in 1993 is was one of the first indications of a growing bouldering movement. It has since become such a coveted piece of gear we're bringing back this classic with some improvements. As a crash pad, it's mobility and area offer excellent landing when cruising circuits or shorter problems.
It’s a bouldering pad. It’s a backpack. It’s a belay station. It’s the Revolution Spot Pad. This versatile climbing tool lets you tote your gear to the crags, then belay from it or use it as an pad for short boulders or unprotected route starts. The pad folds burrito-style and features an upholstery top for cleaning your shoes before climbing.
Probably ideal as a secondary mat used in conjunction with others or really short problems, as it's only 3 cm's thick, so not suited to big impacts - but what a price!
