Personalise your climbing shoes

Five Ten® has taken its recycled Stealth® 'Green' rubber and developed a super-sticky easy-to-use rubber paint for consumer use. Stealth® Paint™ can be applied at home or in the field. It sticks to any shoe surface (leather, synthetic or rubber) and adds instant durability and friction.

Enhance your climbing shoes by adding an extra layer of grippy rubber across the tops of them for jamming and heal hooking (Jam cracks with rubber on both the top and the bottom of your shoe, for increased traction, and if you're heel hooking, as your foot tips back to touch rocks above, it's protected by the new rubber layer) with Five Ten's Stealth® Paint™ Kit. Complete with glue, a tin full of a Stealth® Onyx™ and C4™ rubber particulates and applicator tools, you can add traction to any rock shoe in a matter of minutes.

Coat the uppers of your climbing shoes to increase friction and repair nicks or fissures in the rands and soles. Apply a light, even coat of glue to a clean, dry surface, then in the lid mix two parts rubber grind to one part glue. Apply the mix, spreading and rolling it into a smooth coat, and tapering the edges to prevent peel-back.

Note: this product is softer than climbing rubber so it's subject to nicks but is easily repaired with reapplication.
