Minimise flexing and vibration when standing on minute crystals and fingernail flakes with these stout hooks. Ed Leeper made these industry standard hooks for decades and now Moses has taken over the production - with attention to every minute detail. POINTED AID HOOKS (also known as Logan Hooks - after Jim Logan - the designer) can be used as bat hook in drilled placements or on "dead heads", WIDE HOOKS are stable and strong for edges and micro ledges.
Logan Hooks provide superior hooking action on small edges (wide) or divots and bat hook holes (pointed). The webbing attachment hole provides a connection point that is close to the rock. The result is the majority of the climbers weight is not transferred into outward leverage. The Pointed Logan Hook now features a narrowed section behind the tip. The narrow section allows for greater reach into bat hook holes and blown out rivet placements. Both hooks use a stable tripod design.
Sling with 12mm Supertape or 15mm tie-off webbing.
Hang one of each size LOGAN HOOK on your etriers or aid ladders to allow consecutive hook placements on similar features.
